Spring, St. Patrick’s Day, March Madness, the Obidos Chocolate Festival in Portugal… so many great things happen in March, where do we even begin?
Let’s start with a decadent chocolate cocktail to celebrate the season, our Chocolate Mint Martini. Although we do wholeheartedly recommend a substitute for the Godiva White Chocolate liqueur if you can find one, this martini still truly shines, a wonderful signal for spring… and St. Patrick’s Day of course!
The following recipe yields one serving in a 10 oz. Martini Glass
Chocolate Mint Martini
INGREDIENTS
2 oz. Godiva White liqueur
2-1/2 oz. vodka
1/2 oz. crème de menthe
3 oz. white crème de cacao
GARNISH
Mint Leaf
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Fill a shaker half way with ice.
2. Add all four ingredients.
3. Shake well and pour into martini glass.
4. Garnish with mint leaf.
